Appellate

The Firm maintains an appellate practice that includes providing assistance to the Firm's trial attorneys at the trial stage of a proceeding as well as briefing and arguing appeals. At the trial level, the appellate practice consists of drafting memorandum, arguing complex and dispositive motions, research on difficult legal issues, drafting jury instructions, and attendance at trial and post trial hearings. On matters in which a client is considering appealing or defending an appeal, the appellate practice members evaluate the record on appeal, develop arguments, draft briefs and argue appeals.
